The aged care quality and safety commission has set out a code of conduct, much like the NDIS code of conduct, which sets out a list of behaviors that are demonstrative of high-quality care.
The code aims to ensure all Consumers of Aged Care services have confidence in the services they are receiving, not dependent on who provides them.
Approved Providers (Essential Care included), Governing persons, and Aged Care Workers (including your support worker) are required to comply with the code.
As an Approved Provider, Essential Care is responsible for ensuring our Support Workers and Office Staff complies with the code.
